Had a killer time! The show was great, alot of cool cars and folks. Got to meet alot of new folks. Cruisn with the Lords Was by far my highlight. They are the most standup fellas. and Bloodyknuckles..... your donuts coming!

  3. I agree. That 55 was very cool. Loved how it was put together and watching it run. That's a gasser. That 46 Ford Gasser with the red windows was cool too. Lots of great stuff man.

Porter is not on the HAMB. He doesn't really do computers. I would be willing to bet that he had the fastest car there. Between him and the gold Chevy II it was REALLY close and once Quain gets the Anglia figured out it'll be right there with them.

  7. This car right here was SUPERFINE - loved it. So many nice details and a nailhead with 6 x 2. Bad ASS stuff. [IMG]

  8. Thanks goes out to the GearGoyles for an absolute top-notch event! Drags were great, looks like the turnout was spectacular, and the awards and recognitions were a hit. I had a grand time hanging with the SFers, Iron Lords, and all the guys and gals that stopped by to parouse the striping stand. I'm just a little bummed I didn't get to really look at all the rods, customs, and scoots!

BTW...Curtis, How much did you guys raise for the "Dagger" charity?

Thanks again , and I'm looking ahead to next year! You guys have your work cut out for you to better this year's event!

Coop your car is just plain killer. I was so excited to see it again and I was kicking myself for not pulling you off to the side and shooting it (as well as not taking those damn measurements!).

  14. Coop31 you car is beautiful! What color is that paint? Is it a custom mix? I'm thinking about paint ya know

Brett, we raised $450 for the Task Force Dagger Foundation. This fund raiser was put together on short notice but now we have a full year to plan and really pull things together to support a great cause. Man, I am really looking forward to 2012!

What a great pleasure it has been to read the comments and check out the pictures.

I have several PMs that I have not responded to yet. Back to work today on 12 hrs shifts, so time has been limited. I will be getting back with all of your PMs by Wednesday night.

    Thanks,
    Curtis

One word for the Iron Lords.....OVERNIGHTER!!:D:D What happened?? Y'all left Ron to hang 'till 'bout dark-thirty. Don't worry, he treated us to free jelly beans and his coffeetea concoction! What an ambassador. Great to catch up with some o' you fellas again!

I have been drag racing since 1975 and this was the most fun I have had at a dragstrip in a long time. Thanks to the Geargoyles and everybody that had anything to do with this deal. Next year I will try and have my car ready sooner so I can get there on time. Thanks again Quain Stott

Dunno if Ronnie is on here (the Track owner) but BIG thanks to him for use of the welder. The SOCKS had a LARGE time :) The Trophies RULED!!! Tony post some pics of that puppy with the green flake man. Flag starts and rosin powder was cool too. Lots of nice rides turned out, definately on the calender for next year count us in :)
