day dreaming about Serets racer and came across this...they suggest a triumph herald or something, but i am thinking early v8 caddy powered road racer... http://www.sammio-spyder.com/
absolutely neat...grille is reminiscent of early Ferraris and/or OSCA Maseratis. PL700s and RayDots....could have driven right out of the 50s/60s
Great looking car. I think it's based on an O.S.C.A MT4 sports racer. Might be a little too small for a Cadillac but stranger things have happened.
needs some m***aging where the "door" meets the rear fender...needs a bit of a waist to go with the hips.
I agree, from this angle the sideline doesn't flow into the rear fender very well... that said, she's gorgeous!
Check out the website, they are pretty small, about the same size as a AH Sprite. One sure would be fun with a Hayabusa GSX1300R motor in it though. It might even be compe***ive in the proper modified sports cl*** at Bonneville.
thats a fibergl*** body..right? looks like someone went a bit nutty with the cheese wheel on the front fender well
I don't know what it is the snout droops a little low for an AC body. But if that was what I had to work with it wouldn't do with anything less that a 2x4 side oiler and a 4 speed.
Yep! That rules! You posting this doesn't help me trying to get over cars like that, either! HAHA! Damn you! Pretty addicted to the XJ13 right now, thanks to Matt's project... One of a kind built for La Mans. Wrecked during time trials, but wouldn't have qualified because of the V12. Too many liters jumping around back there. Couple companies making replicas, but they are FORKING over your wallet EXPENSIVE!
Scooter, looks kind of Jaguar/Porsche/Ferrari-ish. Furbie, if that's Sprite sized you wouldn't fit. Better stick to the Stutz.
I definitely think this will happen more and more. Light, CHEAP, reject kit car bodies with custom tube frames and v-8s or little banger style engines. Heck, do like the old one off sportsracers did and lay up your own body! Look at this inspirational site.... www.forgottenfibergl***.com
