I'm not sure if this is the same or not? It looks similiar but without seeing wing and landing gear locations it's hard to tell?

One thing I've noticed is back then very few people drove trucks or SUV's. You take a picture of a parking lot today and half the vehicles will be trucks or SUVs.

Looks like a P-80, almost the same as a T-33.

    Where is it located ?

This picture may have been taken in Texas on hwy. 82 between Bonham, TX. and Paris TX. There is/was a guy that had several old planes. I havn't been across that way in a number of years so I'm not sure if the planes are still there or not.

^^^^ So basically it's a slightly modified T33 for the Canadian Airforce...

Kind of, they were built near Montreal at Canadair Aircraft. They used a Rolls-Royce engine instead of an Allison engine. There were other small differences.

The field plane is still a tf-33 the p-80 has a much shorter cockpit. There's alot of tf-33,t-33,and cl-133s around, they were produced in high numbers as a jet trainer for all nato countries, it's a great plane and is based off of the p-80 which was in fact americas first production jet fighter......

now what do you guys think of this picture?
