I just finished this thread (so far) after a couple or few weeks and I'd like to post up some of the older Pics I've collected from the local flea market here in S.F. and scanned.
Is there a cut off date as to how new a Pic. should be? or, like the rest of the site is '65 the approved newest that should be posted?..
    Thanks all!
    Dave.

I enjoy all the various photos so far, of course the street scenes and racing, but I'm also not adverse to a starlet or two... One of my all time Favs. and neglected so far, the spitfire herself, Mareen O'hara. plus a couple others from around the way..

I've been actively collecting old photos for over four years now, both off the web from the many photo blogs and the local flea market where abandoned old family photo albums from estate sales can be had for a couple dollars, i started looking for old auto & especially racing Pics. but that quickly snowballed into aviation and kids toys and for some strange reason pretty women... I now have two full suitcases of old B&W snapshots plus a whole bunch of color polaroids,.. The first post above are all scanned from old family pics and the second is stuff is off the internets... I'd encourage anyone to pursue saving old photos it's sure a lot cheaper then collecting and fixing old cars...

So, When I first discovered Dog427 and his treasure trove of pics. on "old street scenes" over on the Yenko Supercar Site, we (eventually) spoke on the phone and discovered we were practically neighbors in the early '60s over in the east bay hills as kids, playing army men. these pics are for Todays' Memorial Day to honor those that have and still serve.
Looks like I'm gonna have to get busy scanning..

I don't live there anymore, but when I go up to visit family, I thought about visiting the bridge and seeing if I can get close to the same shot.

That Falcon looks just like the 62 Falcon I owned when I got married, only I had a flat before I left the parking lot.

Had to show my 62 Falcon at my wedding since there is a similar shot just above. BTW, our 39th anniversary is next week, so I decided to include a wedding picture.

This is a test as to whether I can use my Shutterfly account to post pictures. I know it's a repeat.

Bill Graham is responsible for the death of Janis Joplin, he could have and should have prevented it.
    The BASTARD.

Long live Janis in our hearts and minds.

I don't have a picture of my Dad in uniform that is any good, but here is one of my father-in-law. He's the one without the hat. This is to remember our vets on Memorial Day.

I think posting the many pics i have of Janis is maybe too far past the '65 cut off. Sorry if i struck a nerve, Bill had some good and bad points, met him personally at Santanas' first show at the Fillmore West in '68. But again, outside the scope of this thread, too bad as I have some great Pics post '65.
Anyhow many coming... Have a safe Holiday.
