here's a couple of bikes i built. the pink and purple was shot by blue moon, the blue pan was shot by too bad todd, and its not as subtle in real life. its very teal green in the shade with gold /cream lace in the panels, but bright blue and white in the sun. very huge flake.

my next bike is a triumph show bike thats getting painted right now by brandon penserini out of napa, who painted walrus's RIDICULOUSLY sick candy vicky, and a 62 t-bird thats been banging on fools regularly. of course the triumph will be covered in the finest arabian man-glitter. i'm excited.

  20. Two years ago I took several pictures from this thread to painter Gary Seeds and gave him layout and design direction for the roof of my '60 Olds. I'm glad this thread resurfaced, because it gives me a chance to show the roof he painted that was inspired by so many of these bitchin' works of art.

  21. Looks like maybe a silver flake base with blue candy on top, then another another coat of candy (maybe multiple) over the die-cut flowers. On my roof the lace was actually sprayed with black, then blue candied over to get the darker hue.

damn... some badass paintjobs in here... I wanted something custom, but nothing crazy on mine, so I went with a flat HOK true blue pearl w/a gloss white roof with a blue ice pearl in it... not jaw dropping, but I like it... lol

Here is a tank I just finished, 1972 Honda 350 that was called Japenstein, but will probably be changed now LOL. Silver base, Silver flake, Candy Pagan gold and Candy Cobalt Blue. It gave me a chance to practice some techniques for the 58!
