Impulse buy of the day. Wicked cool art deco taillight. Help Identify.

So I bought a pretty cool tail light today.I think I paid to much. It was an impulse buy. Only got one. Got it from a scrapper. I know I've seen similar on 1930's Chrysler, Hudson, and Desoto type cars. I've been googling and can't place the exact year. Anyone know what this fits exactly? I'm hoping I can find a match. If not, maybe I will run a single or let it turn into garage art.

 

That one lense is worth about 200-300 bucks!!!!

true that. and if the above post is anywhere close to true then I'll never get another one.

 

Use it to make a really cool "third" brake light on your Model A.

If your car isn't chopped alot it would fit under the back window I would guess.

That is cool you now know what it is, we bought a light for our Model A, still have no idea what it was from, but it is mounted as our "third" brake light.

Thanks! Looks like they are Desoto. I was a little off on my years and combination of makes. Now I need to find another for cheap. can't believe the price on the nice complete set!

 

Keep an eye on Ebay. They come through all the time mislabeled, and pieces and parts.

The though had crossed my mind....and I am the type of crazy that would build something around a single part.

 

I found listings of 4 different single lights over the last year. ranging from $25-$200 dollars....but they were already sold. At least there is hope.

That was the first thing that crossed my mind, motorcycle light... I want one for my bike now!!! It is absolutly perfect. I have been ssearching for a tail light for a while and this is it...

 

Buy 2 and sell me one.

 

It only took me a month.....but I just got this in the mail....
