    As you may or may not know, I do hot rod "glamour photography" (I guess that's what y'ad call it)... Anyways, here's one for the group that I captured through my Kodak 13 megapixel digital lens, a 1951 Mercury... Its lookin' kinda phat and phurious... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...

    I think it says Heads - So Calif with a member's number in between.

    Checked O'Brien's list but it wasn't there.

    I'm going to be starting on a Buster Litton clone (but with a Carson top) pretty soon for a friend. It took him years to find all the Buster Litton pieces to build it...pics soon!

    I'm really not sure... The owner is from Staten Island, NY... I think the car has a working turntable in the interior-- it's a somewhat over-the-top presentation...

    any one have any pics of a chopped 49-52 fleetline that is painted black or just a darker color in general?

    Unfortuantely, "Jimmy Merc" passed on. Its a 50 and I loved it when it was first done in the more traditional manor.

    I appreciate the kind words. But I have a vision. Every year I try to get it closer to realizing that vision. Hope to have it looking as classy as your ride, Chevy54.
    bonz, A real traditional custom needs shiney paint unless it isn't finished. Just my take,BUCKD
