Hot Rods '40 pickup - what would you do with it?

Truck looks awesome, don't paint it!

 

I would paint it satin black, clean up the interior, paint the wheels red w/ cream stripes on the rims and drive the hell out of it. Looks great...

 

i like it just the way it is!!!!

 

39 Dlx. bulb/reflector lights fit 39 Dlx., 40 Std. & Dlx., and 40-41 Pickups. Of course, the 40 Car and 40-41 Pickup sealed beam****emblies also fit the 39 Dlx.

 

Here is a different approach on the truck. My friend Bob O has this cool 40 that is his daily driver. Flathead, dropped axle, Columbia and Whitewall tires. He installed a 40 passenger car dash.

 

To use 40 headlights in a 39 Deluxe you have to trim the bucket hole in the fender a small amount.
Just drive your truck and enjoy it.
