Awesome coverage! Thanks for taking the time to share with those of us who couldn't be there.

That young lady racing the black roadster is probably wondering where you draw a line between photographer and stalker. :)

HA!, Yeah I know, I know.
I always ask before I take a photo of anyone up close. Always...:)
Except for CrazyDaddyo, I never ask, I just forward the photos to the Homeland Security..:)

And there was I chatting happily to you about Ford powered 40 Sedan Deliverys and never thought to ask if you are a Hamber - it was great talking to you and thanks for all the info you gave me on your neat ride.

Green sticker is an Eagle Field participant sticker - in contrast to D Lazaris, Elmer 'Unsprung Snyder' turned 85 years old two days ago - they share birthdays and both run flathead powered rails. Elmer's fastest time last year was 12.00 this year he ran 11.45/115.89 straight out of the trailer. Elmer is simply amazing - raced all his life and still going strong. In contrast to D Lazaris, Elmer Snyder has not just one, but many girlfriends....:D

Ahh I didn't know we shared birthdays!

We've been wanting to race against each other for the last 2 years but never get paired together. Hopefully at Eagle Field we will be able too. We are going to try to make it next time.

I hope I can be like him at his age (specially with the girls ;)

Well here is a video of our dragster. This was from our first run of the day... which was awful. Halfway down the track ****** fluid just exploded out from the filler tube (we found out later it was WAY overfilled) and it went all over my helmet and visor, couldn't really see so I shut off early... Plus we weren't at full RPM at the starting line, the throttle was sticking a little.

But we ended up going all the way to the finals but ended up breaking out!
