Thanks to all that braved the heat and came out for a good time in lovely Giddings. Yes, it was hot, but it was the first BPTX that wasnt in the triple digits, so we had that going for us, which is nice. Good friends, good BBQ, good bands, cold beer, smokey burnouts and amazing hot rods... what else is there? Thanks to our hard working host club, The Fellowship of Speed, and friends Marcy, Jeff Allison and Mercury Charlie for helping out! Will post more when I get back in the office, but here are a couple quick ones...
We woke up super late. Didn't make it to the show until after noon. Most of the cars had left. But still had a great time and saw some great rods. We'll be back next year for sure. I'll post my pics tomorrow.
my fellow cannibals and i had a great time. hopefully my car will be ready in time for next years show. i encourage everyone to get the word out so that this show will keep growing.
My wife and I were pumped, but found out last minute (I thought I knew where it was) that it was a three hour drive for us 1 way. If we had our truck ready we would have done it, or if we had planned a little better. I am bummed to have missed it though. Next year for sure.
I hate that we missed it, but I was stuck in a airport in Vegas......I should have sent the wife in the van lol
that was one of the guy's in my club that popped a tire in the burnout contest. he's been putting that truck together for awhile now and this was his first time to get to road trip it to a show. couldn't have slapped the smile off of his face all weekend. we all had a great time. looking forward to next year! thank y'all!.
they'za comin!!! I've got a few to upload tonight and waiting to hear back from some folks that took WAY better pics than I did if its OK to use them. mine should be up by morning and then there should be some more if the owners ok my use of them. here are a couple more... I'm just teasing you now
