Travis Barker is the drummer for Blink 182 (don't listen to em) but his 51 Cadillac is bad ***. Anyone have pics or stats on the car?

I saw that car about 5 mo ago at West Coast Customs, He sent it to West Coat Custom to get Pimped! true story they remove the original caddy engine and stuck a northstar v8 in, the rest of the car was getting worked as well, might not look the same anymore, in fact when wcc does a car the usually ghost in their logo on the paint job, so it might not even be the same color anymore

  8. That northstar sounded like it had a rumpety rump idle. That kinda ****s though. Not my thing.

I'll call my cousin and see if he can find some or ask Travis for some. They don't as much as they used to but are still friends. He was in a band with Travis back in the day.

That cadi was so sick. Pisses me off that he let WCC touch it. Those guys are a bunch of idiots when it comes to tradition or style. Everything has to be bling bling and modern yo!.

Before they got a hold of it, it was one of my favorite builds. The paint was awesome.

Yeah to a point it's cool to have some new things going on but that car had quality body work on it and was well done. No need to do what they did. Could have just rebuilt and juiced up the old cadi motor. Bagged it. done. boooo.

    I hate that place

If a Northstar sounds that bad*** with a set of gl***packs on it, then I'm swapping out my 430.... The guy has a p***ion, he may be famous, but hes no idiot.

I refuse to believe he took that car to WCC for any sort of work. It's made recent appearances on his TV show with a dead battery, and gl***packs.

Well he has a grip of Caddies... I will ask my buddy what exactly he has... he was in the car with Travis on his first show of meet the Barkers... my other buddy was driving it... I think it was the 53 but I am not sure. He has a bunch... I will see if I could get a few pix sometime.... yesterday I saw Travis in his 79 white with red convert.

I didn't see the show...no tv. But would your friend happen to be anthony?

If you've been around long enough maybe you know my cousins Maurice and Heather?

    Oh...and it was a 54.

He's also got a 79 and a 66 convertible. I think he's got to other. Another early 50's. And I think he has a couple newer models as well.

nah...I'm glad he hooked up with Blink. Think it was 98 or so. I saw blink before they got him. Freaking TERRIBLE. you may not like the stuff they did but you have to admit it was hookie and did what it was designed to do. Sell. Can't beat something like 10 million records sold. maybe more.

Beyond that it openned up a lot of doors for Travis and showed the world a hell of a drummer. He's a very cool guy. Deserves what he got.

You'll see a lot of different stuff involving him over the next 10 years.

that is a bad*** car. the quality is way too good to be WCC, that place ****s. i have seen that episode twice now and it doesnt look or sound like a northstar motor to me. it looks like an TPI/L98 motor. It looks like you can see the runners rising up to the plenum. But again, that scene is only a second longa and i have not seen the car in person or any pictures of it. Anyone else agree?

Okay, here's what I have so far:

    Barker either sux, or doesn't.
Palmer is rad, or a ****.
    WCC sux.
    Blink 182 sux, or doesn't.
    Barker has a TV show.
    It's a '50, or '52, or '53, or '54.
    Barker has other Caddy's.

    Here's what I don't have:

A picture of any of Barkers cars.

    thanks for the input.

It was a 54 on the show.

The car I was talking about was a 51.

but yes...no pictures. Imagine that. famous people not having tons of pictures of the cars someone else built for them all over the place. Or god forbid not having the time to go to every car show.
