  7. Due to my activity at my site, I only come to the HAMB now to view this thread and the 60s-70s Oval Track thread. My kids grew up at the track and my son has a large website with racing clips and interviews. He also posts quite a few vintage modifieds. I come to these to threads after a long night of posting, etc at my site to just lay back and take it all in.

    I just wanted to give you kudos of an extremely well done job and kudos to all the others also.

    Old Henry would test/twist your average Model A Front I Beam Axle 7 times
    without it breaking just to prove that "Vanadium Steel" was far superior to the competitions steel.

    I guess this is why we see 10,000 Model A's, and 1000 '40 Ford's (with their Flathead V8's)
    to every Singular similar year GM, Chryco or Desoto today. (GM outproduced Ford almost 2 to 1 from 1928 to 1953)
