Hey bob thanks for helping move the caddy limo out the way so we could get on the road and for the recognition of our club members 35 coupe. Truly a great show and thanks for seeing that all cars got in and out safe

 

I'm sure Primo was a big help moving the Caddy Limo

Its a play on words and what really happened. Bob always tells good stories and is fine and well.

 

No,it's not true......it was only 1 layer,hahaha!

Okay....here's the TRUE story!

Friday night,about 1:30,I hop in the Merc for the night,just like I have done for the last 8 years are so. Around 3am,my phone rings and wakes me up. It's one of my intoxicated,friends. I look around and he's standing over by the Dome,talking to these two guys. So,I get out as they come over to chat...It started out as a normal,conversation. Then it turns into,"Hey...have you seen the trophys for the car show?". Then it was "FUCK....SHIT!....NO WAY!....Look at that!....blah,blah,blah!" .Next thing I know,here comes 4 1/2-O,on a bicycle. "You guys need to go to your rooms on the boat,the show is closed". They grumbled a little,and walked away. I opened my door and got back in the Merc. He says,"you can't stay here!". I told him,"it's okay,I'm part of the staff". I forgot I had given my Staff card to someone so they could give it someone who needed it more than me. I tell him i'm not leaving!
Next thing I know,my buddy comes back and gets in my Merc. Here comes Security...,"You need to get out and go to your rooms right now,or i'm callin the cops!". Of course my buddy has a room on the boat. GREAT!!!
So I get escorted to the gate and figured,i'll just crash over at the Registration tent. "Sir...the exit is that way". FUCK!!! So I start walking toward the west end of the parking lot. They followed me half way.then turned back.
I look over and there's benches by the Catalina Express building...PERFECT! I sit down and take off my hat. Ten minutes later,here comes the pimple-faced kid on the bicycle again..."Sir,you can't stay here". FUCK ME!!! I told him,"I'm outside the event,now leave me the hell alone!" He decided not to call the LARGE African American Gentleman again,and left.
Next thing I know it's 6:30,and i'm getting "fly-bys" by a bunch of seaguls. I head over to the gate....guess what? NO STAFF PASS! I'm stuck outside! hahaha!
I kept thinking,shit,it's only Friday. What's next? Looking back after,it's pretty funny,but it wasn't funny Friday night,hahaha! I got shit all weekend.

I couldn't stay after work and post pic's,cause something came up. I'll jump right on it when I get to work tomorrow,before my shift starts. I know,that sucks,but I have no control over family issues. I'll go in early...

 

Don't really care. I'll be nice when I see him. As far as i'm concered,the drama is over. We were cool when we talked. I'm not one of those "you said....blah,blah,blah!". He didn't bring anything up,I didn't bring anything up,I'm sure he feels the same way.

 

Good I am happy to hear it......Now back to the regular program!!!

Hey Bob, lucky they dont put those arm rest bars to divide seating on those parks benches like in Miami to keep people from sleeping on em!

Id of had to come back to get you then because sleeping on the sidewalk would been rock bottom!
