3 of us and our wives flying out this Sunday from Alabama for the week ....... 3 left wednesday driving a 32 roadster truck and a 34 roasdster and have made it as far as New Mexico tonight......can't wait...first trip to west coast and looking forward to the open houses and the show
Heading out from Syracuse N.Y. with (TDC ENG). This will be our first L.A. Roadster show visit. Planning to be in town 6/15-6/21. We went to GNRS 2010 and had a fantastic time! So we kind of know our way around. Suggestion of things to do or see???? Also, I understand that we should be able to get into the swapmeet on Friday to do some early shopping. Is this true?
Looks like we are going! Mort Smith who is with the LA Roadsters club used to drive our dragster in 59' and wants us to bring it. Originally we were going to go just to the swap meet but it looks like it will be a full weekend!!
Friday is the day to buy, gates open at 10 a.m. , you can do alot of buying in line on thursday, So. Cal., Bobby Waldons, and the Kenedy Bros shop on friday, and they are all in the same vecinity.

Spoke with the LA Roadsters folks about the new layout for the Roadsters, vendors, specialty parking and swap. Everything has moved, especially parking if you're just there to see... I spent the weekend digging thru my parts stash and pulled out some good stuff for the swap meet. In addition to letting some good parts go, we will be blowing out some of our out of print designs to make room for new ones. If you show up at camp ACME wearing and ACME shirt we will give you a free leather key chain. Wash 'em and wear 'em boys! My wife and I really dig this weekend. We can't wait to get there.
Well, still did not get the Roadster back together so the Wife and I will be drivin the ole Stand By, the 50s survivor chopped Deuce 5w. She never lets me down!! We, Todd G, his son, his bro from So Dak and Butch are leaving my house in Mesa, at 0 dark 30 Fri morn. Hope to attend Waldens and So Cal that nite. Roadster WILL be back together for next year for sure.
I'll be there , but not in my roadster . I got some bad news today that the engine has some serious problems and is going to need some work. Oh well something to look forward to next year .
