The left side of this clay mock-up is a Roundup 2-door wagon, while the side that can be seen is done up with the wood and trim of a Bermuda. Note how the roof pillars differ from one side to the other.<!-- START HOME FREE FOOTER CODE --><!-- END HOME FREE FOOTER CODE -->

my pacer missing some buttons... notice my hat, My neighbour asked from me, "That hat came with car, right ? "
After Drugasm and I lowered the hell out of his car we figured out why the back tires are already on at this point on the assembly line!
wow, this thread has become virtual cornucopia of Edsel memorabilia. Thanks to everyone who has posted all of this great history!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Nice Pacer! Interesting; it looks like the manual-shift Pacer used the same steering wheel and horn ring as the '58-'60 T-bird. Was that the case with the stick-shift Ranger as well? Or did they use the regular Ford wheel?
Our 1958 non-Teletouch auto Villager wagon uses the T-Bird steering wheel as well. The only difference is the Edsel only horn button. Like this one: Here is a manual Ranger wheel
Ha, that manual Ranger picture is my car. It took me a few minutes to notice it. I was looking at it and I was saying to myself,...... that one has the tach like mine, and its missing a chrome steering wheel spear like mine...... and a guage from the pod........ hey wait a minute. At least I know I have options now in finding that spear. Looks like that wheel got around.
Thanks guys for keeping this thread going. Great pics and info. I have always had an interest in Edsels but have never owned one. The first car I ever moved on my own (I won't say drove ) was a new 58 Citation, turqouise and white with the teletouch, owned by my cousin. I was ten years old.
My friend has a 2 door 58 Corsair, been in storage a long time. We will be getting her back on the road soon!
Here are some pictures of our new Edsel that I picked up a week or two ago. 54,000 miles. 361 with the tele touch. She has only gone 4,000 miles since 1974 and has only been sitting for 4 years. Plans are to have the seats redone (with new covers replacing the old)carpet, brakes, full tune up, have the front and rear windows re-sealed, drop it 2" and some new exhaust. The car has been garaged for it's whole life except the past 4 months it sat out parked where it is in the pictures.
I have all of the paper work from when it was new. I will scan it and post on this thread when I get a chance.
Wagon Continental kit? Really?? Split rear bumper...Am I seeing things? Anyone know what bumper that may be?
