hey fellas, i have seen a few cars built with the whole early fighter plane theme (bomber seats, extensively riveted panels) and was wondering if anyone had any links or pics.. thats the direction i want to go with my new project, and there was a car at the grand run in pigeon forge tennessee last year that was done up inside and out but i cant find any of my photos thanks- josh
like this? http://www.cartown.com/forum/showthread.php?19763-p51-Mustang-(old-crow)-themed-silverado&p=205456 jk here are some, these are all vinyl wraps or paint, not actual riveted panels or anything but at least its something to go by. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?4658001-Pic-Request-Fighter-plane-themed-Car-Wraps and here is a thread on here about the theme http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=469363
that is the only foose car i like. a lot of great ingeneering in it. steering first. gotta be careful w/ the theme acrs imo. you risk of making it a parade car more than anything. i like this a lot . yeah completley and absolutley o/t, sorry. the f-bomb camaro that ho rod mag did some 2 years ago is sweet.
that dash (minus all the gauges) and riveted door panels is exactly what i was talking about, thanks thunderrocket
This is by far the best example. Love it. I do believe it was built to be a driver also. How long would it take to collect those guages though?
Hollywood HR builds all there projects to the owner's specs, this car is driven by the owner. In fact, he actually had HHR add custom wing-section shaped mufflers into the header. Troy told me he thought it took away from the original look (I thought it looked silly), but made the roadster a little more streetable.
