    * todays update*

    i finally had a chance to work on the hot rod. I had been planing on putting the top irons on the car that i had won from ebay from a fellow h.a.m.b.er, so i had to figure out how to make it fit. the top had already been chopped and didnt look to bad.fellow hamber also sent me the parts he had chopped out. I used them to make the front of the roof longer remember roadsters are shorter than a sport coupe so i added what i needed and now it all works. i also had to section the middle so it would all line up and move easy.

    Very interested to see how this comes out, as I've been pondering if modifying stock irons would work out ok...really looking forward to the end result!

    todays update

    after 2 days of running around dmv finally let me register my sportcoupester the trouble was i had a really old title from p,a. so it had to be filled out in front of a notery public. so i had to find one that would do it for me well with a nice crisp 50$ bill slipped to the guy he was willing to look past any and all error on the title i didnt care the motery was only supposed to be 2 bucks but it was worth it after 5 hours at dmv its done the car is now legit and almost ready to go..i need to finish the top and get the wheel cylinders and its road worthy.

    Just for fun put a stock A muffler on it [with cut outs] it will fool a lot of people. I like it.

    Wow that's awesome. Just read this entire thread. It was a good read(hard to read some parts...lol) but pretty cool to see what you have done. On that top, can you leave it down or is it always have to be up or off?

    Got a '27 T and have a top but its for one torn up, and two it's ugly with it on. But Florida's weather is unpredictable when its gonna rain or not.

    Oh really? 4 hours isn't bad. Check out my thread,9(link in my signature) and look at my top, and tell me how hard it looks.

    What kind of material did you get? Thanks
