I did a thread search and didn't find any keywords to make me think this question had already been asked/answered ... I think the photo below is from a movie where VP carries that head around in a hat box and when people see it they fall under its power. It seems like it was on at least monthly when I was a kid, and I haven't been able to figure out what it was called. Does anyone know the name of that movie?



PS FWIW ETC, the reason I'm asking here is because the photo is on page 1 of this thread.

Whoa, I just spotted these pics of the Hawaiian Hot Rod. It's the very same car my friend now owns and is restoring. I don't think he knows about these pics being printed in a magazine. Which mag, year and issue is this from! Very exciting as I recently started a thread about it here...

went out to the garage and started looking for the Hawaiian roadster and got side tracked as usual. As some time has gone bye since my original posts from this unorganized accumulation I cant remember which magazines I've gone through already. It is a good possibility that I might be reposting some images as i try to find your friends roadster

Thanks for looking! This might help...someone on my other thread said the Hawaiian Roadster showed up in the large sized HOP UP from 53-54.

I may be mistaken...but is this car Hawaiian built too?

 

The article did not list the owner or location. From a 1960 hot rod annual with the article title ' Full Fendered Ford" The buildings in the rear 3/4 view are unusual. Also will look for the Hop up issue

 

I have the Oct '59 issue of Hot Rod with an article on the car from posts 348 & 350
