I talked to your dad for a few minutes when I recognized the 40 from a thread somewhere. Problem is- I play on several websites & didn't put 2 & 2 together (The HAMB) until later. He was bragging about driving to the event........rightfully so!!!

Does he carry a brush in his pocket all day long? That's the most perfect trained beard I've ever seen!

  8. Thanks for sharing your trip with your dad with us, lots of memories for you and dad for sure.

Steve- Bryce has been working with Don for over a year on these, they are real. Apparently there is a market for them. The heads are completely re-engineered for SBC and the valve covers are re-done. Don and Bryce were there setting up some samples.

This is just too cool. Id love to go on a long road trip in my car. Especially with an old timer with stories galore! I cant wait till I caravan out to California for all the shows. Nothin better than good ol' old fashioned fun on a american road trip. im very jealous!

Yes, Ardun heads made for SBC I know it sounds stupid, but Don says he has a waiting list for this stuff. Bryce re-engineered all the rocker assemblies, etc, etc. Bryce is now working on a bomb-proof QC for Don's streamliner, it's pretty insane, like nothing else out there.

  23. You too Mike!

Cal Paul found us, he was laughing about my vide were I claimed to be smelling the ocean. He said what I was smelling wasn't the ocean, "you're smelling meth labs in San Bernardino"!

We laughed about that for awhile.

It was great to meet so many great HAMB'rz today!

A few final shots from today.

    Ladies man...Ha

Thanks for posting your Father/son trip from Colorado!!
Following your well done thread, reminds me of when we went thru Colorado in 1972 driving our '32 roadster to the NATS in Detroit, Mich.---The roads then were NOT the highways of TODAY!!---5000 miles round trip & fun times, weather & all!!
It was an adventure of my lifetime & many memories for sure!
Glad you & dad are enjoying your "bucket list" trip to the LAR show & swap, have a neat trip back & a safe one too!!!-----Did you get a headlight sticker?-----Don

  27. What a fantastic trip! Thanks for letting us ride along. Oh, I believe that red car is a Toyota 2000GT ;)
