Yeah, hell. Some things WERE harder back "in the old days."

BUT, most things were one hell of a lot more fun:cool: back before the federal government and unelected administrators told us how to eat, breath, reproduce and THIMK!

(Okay, I admit it was all a setup so I could mention the poster!:p LOL. Ticks me off, I can't find an image of that poster anyplace!:( Hmmmmmmmmm? Did I burn that many brain cells out in the Age of Aquarius?)

Man i would love to live in the 40s-50s. i know there were problems, but people had a desire to look nice, classy, and good. same with cars, and almost everytihng else. im a simplistic person, and that era just totally suits my fancy. Not to mention the BABES! id take a curvy girl in a high waisted swim suit with cute curls and red lipstick over a stick figure any day! Luckily i got a gal who fits that criteria ;)

Clarence Clemons, 69, an original member of the E-Street Band, passed away yesterday in Palm Beach, FLA, as the result of a stroke six days before. "The Big Man" authored a musical resume' few of us could move without use of a wheelbarrow. His mastery of the sax is legendary and meant Clarence NEVER lacked for work. I first heard his sax on Springsteen's "Born to Run" in 1975. Just not a sound you forget! Farewell, Clarence. You did your hometown of Norfolk, VA, proud, man!

They are Re-Building as we speak. I just hope they don't "modernize" it too much.

A few more pix I found.
