"Cecil Walkden Wood in his third home-built car, photographed circa 1910. The coachwork is by wheelwright and coach builder John James Grandi. The passenger is Wood's son, also named Cecil. Probably photographed in Wood's home town of Timaru."

I forwarded this to my son, who works in Elmore, Ohio. He informs me that the library in Elmore displays one of these cars. The car was originally produced in Elmore, but moved down the road to Clyde when GM bought them. Today, a large Whirlpool plant sits on the location in Clyde.

My grandfather's shop in Uruguay, South America and one of his race car with the race "team". My grandfather raced alongside Juan Manuel Fangio before his rise to greatness.

Some of J. Buglass's customers in the early days of Motoring.
The vehicles are, from left, a Buick, Geo. Rough's Renault, and Overland,
and A. Ross in an unidentified make. Buglass had his business in Clyde Street.....
