Finally got some more pictures to load! Kiwi Kev's willys is absolutely wild, I love that thing. I finally got to see Pete Eastwood's T truck which is also really cool with a small block chevy in it. Sam

I read the thread on this car earlier this year. We talked to the owner and it was built in 30 days. We were surprised how quiet this thing was driving around. All it had were stubby little glasspacks on it. What a badass 3 window.

Buffed the paint today and cleaned up the chrome. We also mounted some wheel and tires on the rear. We have some magnesium halibrand kidney bean wheels that will go on the front but we will have to wait for the tires to come in on thursday. Thanks John for drilling those wheels for me. Rick I would love to see pictures of that 34 5W Coupe you road tripped with when you were 21 years old!

Looks like you two are having a ball! I watched the auction for your car on Ebay. Bitchin' hot rod ... I'm glad it went to a good home. The paint looks killer buffed out. It would look great if you put some bias plys and/or slicks on it in the future. Keep up the good work and keep havin' fun.

Thanks! They are not my wheels but Dave has really helped me out by letting me use some of the things he has lying around his shop. I can't wait to sprinkle some things around the car, but it will take some time for me to save up some money. I actually might have to put my 31 model a roadster project up for sale. But what would you rather have? A 31 roadster that needs a full restoration or a 34 5W that runs and drives! I am ecstatic to have this 5W!

    19 & 21 WOW!

You guys experienced something that will stick with you for a long time man, kudos to you. Most of us older, seasoned guys are just lucky enough to get to fly into LARS, and here you 2 go, and live a dream.

Sweet score & glad to see its in your hands!!!

  18. Congrats guys, the coupe is bad to the bone. A few touches and it will be the kind. So great to hear some young blood not wanting a Honda. Thanx for the sweet pix and the cool story. Keep on keepin on! ~sololobo~

The 36 panel looked a lot like my dads when we brought it home. Loved the top insert. The Dick Flint roadster was a work of art. Amazing metal work and attention to detail. Everything on it was perfect.

The paint on the Lloyd Bakan coupe was amazing. It made you want to lick it. The tan 28/29 roadster is along the lines of what I want to do with my 30/31 roadster. It was a really neat car

We stopped in at the NHRA museum. Only a couple pictures turned out good. We got to see the Chrisman and Pierson Bros. coupes which are my two favorite cars ever. It had to be wild watching these things blast across the salt.

More inside the museum. All the aluminum work on the Chester Osgood roadster was a work of art. Holy crap man, the Osgood roadster is cool.
