Ok I contacted YANKEE MIKE here on the hamb and told him he should come to Heavy Rebel. We should shame him into going and heckle him forever if he doesn't. If you guys haven't seen his '32 Roadster in person, it is single handily the nicest car on the east coast IMHO. It would be a true treasure to have at that show heckle away!!!

Now if I could just get Thunderbirdesq to drive his roadster down from Buffalo for the show we'd really be on the up and up!!!

    What are yall bringing?

The Marriott or The Embassy Suites...Both across the street from the venue, so you can crawl there! No other way to go! There is a Wingate Inn and a Hawthorne Suites close too.

Go to http://www.heavyrebel.net/Getting_Here.html and scroll to the bottom, there is a Heavy Rebel Weekender discount, just click on either link!

I attended the show 4 years in a row. It has been about 3 years since the last time. Drove the polara wagon and the 55 dodge truck the first year. My 54 olds the second. And the 66 fury the time after that. And having issues with the fury the following year took the jeep. Always had a good time. Just seemed to get old after awhile. A few friends are going this year. Maybe next time.

I'll be heading up to my grandpas (Wilkes, N.C.) on wednesday, hanging out there for a while. Maybe getting a few jars of "water" then its off to Winston for a much needed awesome weekend!

I talk to Yankee Mike I don't believe he is going to take car to the show. I hope he change his mind. It is a real nice original 1932 Ford roadster. If Mike don't have to work we might drive one of my cars to show on Saturday. JJ it would be nice to eat breakfast in Kvillie and ride up together. Hope Mike take his car back GG in Charlotte.

Thanks, one and all for talking it up. The past few years we'e had increasingly better quality cars, and we hope to take another leap forward this year. Im excited to have the Iron Lords and the Road Devils Brigade helping us this year as well as a few members of the Saints, and i know that they will do a great job and help us raise the amount of Traditional cars trucks and bikes, and weed out the crap. The show runs from 8am to 4pm and all cars must be off the street or in a space by 4pm. We have parking for another 70 cars or so this year. There will be mud/pudding westling outside bands, vendors, striping, and lots of other things going on. Cost is ten dollars to bring in a vehicle if your not attending the weekender. Open to all Traditional hot rods, customs, and stockers pre 68 as well as motorcycles. No billetmobiles, trailer queens, 2X4 cars, or lawnmowers. And starting this year we're going to park the best of the best at the front closest to the Millenium center, sort of a showcase if you will. Ive watched this show start with 25-30 friends and their cars to over 300 vehicles last year. This years promises to be the best ever! If theres any questions feel free to message me on here or email me at fireflyte60@aol.com

dude, Yankee Mike has the most dialed ride on the east coast, why in the hell would he not bring it??????? tell him he is ensured rock star parking :D

and Ted, I agree, I have watched this show grow over the years too and I think its going to continue to get more and more dialed as time goes on!

Yankee Mike, seriously bro, your car inspires people, dont forget that.

Not to mention we gotta put NC on the map because there are A LOT of nice rides around but we as a community are often not organized and cant seem to get all together at the same time.

    BRING YOUR CAR :D

hell bro only a small handful of peeps have their rides completely dialed :D

it's more about taking pride in your car than wanting to shock people with how crazy your car must be.

there is a difference between self expression and crying for attention:)

your Plymouth looks clean and on its way!

    keep it up!

and remember no matter what any one every tells you

    STANCE IS EVERYTHING! :)

as long as your stance is dialed everything else should fall into place:)

think about if you had a kustom with an awesome chop but but it sat high in the ass.

    kinda whack:D

Mike has new girl friend. He is trying to lay low and tired of being a ROCK STAR. All those car groupie (girl) is not good. Just hard for any man to handle all that fame. Plus he needs to clean some more bathrooms to buy his next project.

    haha I can dig:)

I just think he is a perfect example of what some one can do if they just want to.

I was quite shocked to learn that he wasn't some rich dude.

tell I'll work security for him, keepin the trifflin bitches at bay!

I dialed that dial and the dial only dialed the dial that it wanted to dial. If the dial is broken please try to dial a new dial and lets all get dialed :)

I understand the Iron Lord provide security at GG Charlotte show. He had no problem trifflin there. It might make he go to the show now. I think that is JJ in the pic keeping security. JJ is ask the old man in Mike's chair to leave.

Hot Rod Willie are we going to see your 5w there? Hope so that thing is rad!!!!

I thought for a second I was going to have something to drive up as I was in the process of trading my '33 away but that all fell through so now I am back to driving up in my daily. I am praying that I'll have something ready this summer. BUT WITH THAT BEING SAID I've been known to blow deadlines before.
