Only '30-'31 A pick-up I could find in my stash. (I think? I struggle with identifying differences between '30-'31 and '32-'34)

These are '32-'34 but the bodies are very similar so you could steal a couple ideas from these.

This might be an earlier A but this is a good example to not rule out fenders. (black pick-up above as well)

WOW, timing is perfect on this thread. I just bought a Model AA earlier today, a Model A pickup box, and an unknown front axle with the super wide 5 bolt pattern and mechanical brakes. I plan on using the cab from the AA, the A box, and a '30 A grill and head lights. I have a great Model A drivetrain to put in there for now, but also just happened upon a chevy 265 V8 with a Powerglide. I want this to be a build right out of the '50s.

Going to pickup the truck this weekend.

I built this '29 a couple years ago with a 59ab flathead, '39 trans, banjo rear end, steelies, bias ply tires.

Those '32s are beautiful!. I'm really digging the No chop on some of 'em. '30-'31s are cooler tho... I have most everything for my '31 truck. Just need more room in garage. Mike

I'm kinda new to the site, so I try to keep quiet and learn.

But, I think Lucky Burton's - Old Crow Speed Shop- shop truck is one of the best I've ever seen as far as proportions and Traditional hot rod look.

I wish I could have purchased it when available.

    jmho - YMMV

I think it would be cool to channel the cab down so you lose the panel in between the cab and running boards. East coast style. I don't know if anyone's done this just like I described but there's a red closed cab that's been sectioned, chopped. And runs fenders too. I don't know where I'd find a picture of it but that would be cool.

    X2. RPU or closed cab?

My 30 pickup. I added 4 inches in the middle of the doors, so wheelbase is 4 inches longer than stock also. Not totally traditional, but I'm working on it.
