  10. Now there is one from the dark ages. Neil Leffler in the Leffler & Loukas comp coupe. They beat the Speed Sport Roadster in the final of middle eliminator at the '59 March Meet. This coupe was bad ass!

If you deleted every picture that was 1969 or newer you would loose at least half of this thred.

  14. Thanks for the pics, Rocky.

Eddie Potter must have had brass-chrome-iron-steel balls! The look on his face is great, like they just lunched the engine and someone said, "Hey Eddie, SMILE!"

Agreed, and not a bad idea. At least maybe we could stick to that from here forward? Should I set up another alternate thread for drag cars in motion, '69-'80? Just concerned the mods might close that one??

I have NOTHING to contribute to this thread as I was born 8 years after the end of this time period.

Just wanted to say I have enjoyed the hell out of the pictures but mostly the stories that go along with them.

Keep up the great work mods by keeping this on topic and keep the pics coming.

So there would only be 14,000 posts?
Might be a little over the deadline, but I don't think so.

You can start a drag car thread for cars that were build yesterday, but the suject mattter, the cars themselves, still have to be HAMB friendly, which is to say pre-1966 or 1964, depending upon sho you talk to. If you read the rules first, it will become obvious that cars from '69-'80 would not be welcome on the HAMB.

    No.

Anything that new is Off Topic for the HAMB, and will be Deleted.
