    No problem, it's easy to get caught up in the drama threads. There will be plenty more to get into later I'm sure. No need to get off on a wrong footing. But seriously, this is a great place with a lot of cool stuff. Sometimes I get off track myself, but there is so much good positive stuff here, I've learned to try to just stick with that and leave the negative stuff alone as much as I can. Not perfect myself by a long shot, still working on it. Welcome to the hamb.

    I bought a factory power antenna for my wifes OT corvette, guy ships it in bubble wrap and a shipping bag, UPS leaves it on my front porch, I get home see the bag and know I am in trouble, looks like someone did a war dance on it, mast is broke. I call ups they said no insurance **** wind, I email the owner who shipped it he says the same luckily the guy I bought it from had a buy it now with free shipping so since he failed to insure it I was able to get my money back but what a fight! Another time I bought a Mac tools Rat Fink clock same type of packing, bubble pack, envelope, same story face was busted, but I emailed that guy no questions, no problem, sent me another one. moral of the story put it in a box with bubblewrap and pray there is no doubt either time it was ups because I know they wouldn't have accepted a package in the shape I received it

    The USPS is ****. At least one day a week I get somebody else's mail in my box. I suppose mine goes in someone else's too. They never attempt to deliver a package to the door. I've watched them drive to the mailbox and put something in. I went out and it was an attempt to deliver notice.

    But they always get the junk mail delivered.

    Fedex lost two WWW tires coming from texas tracking was ok to Sacremento they show being loaded on the truck but never ariving in Fresno 150 miles away and the next stop. you wont beleve the bull **** i went threw. My last conservation with a manager. Went like this. They were loaded on the truck right Yea. They were not unloaded in Fresno Yea. And you cant find them in eather warehouse Yea. So i think you have 3 choices. 1 Fire the sacremento wearhouse man 2 Fire the fresno warehouse man or 3 the truck driver. Personaly if it were my company I would Fire all 3. I dont know how some of these companys stay in bussiness. Jim

    Man UP!!!!

    The seller responded to me once after many Pm's. Still no refund offered so far (this is the first I have heard of a refund for the part). I never said he was not a stand up guy or a saint. I was just letting everyone know what happened to me.

    Here is what my 3rd message said: "This package looks like it was run over. Was the packing new when you put the horn ****on in it. Can you send me a PM letting me know you received my message?"

    His response: "got message .i sent it in a brand new padded packaging envelope."
    <HR style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #e5e5e5; COLOR: #e5e5e5" SIZE=1> <!-- / icon and ***le --><!-- message -->
    My final message: "In the future pack in a box or put some extra tape on the envelope. I feel like due to the poor packing I am out the money."

    I did not mean for this to be resolved on the forum. I just wanted people to realize what can happen. Some of the response on this tread blow my mind

    It amazes me that you choose to use the forum to solve an issue that could and should have been resolved by p.m.
    If you wanted to highlight the inadequacies of U.S.P.S. then you should have said that and not 'I've been screwed by them or the seller'.
    I have had great success dozens of times buying and selling on here and when I did have an issue I sorted it out with the seller in private.

    He has not responded to me! I did not "out" the guy, he did that. I am still waiting for his reply or a pm. WTF is it to you that I wanted to point out that when shipping a part a ****ing envelope is NOT something that should be used. Let me say that the U.S.P.S did nothing wrong it was packed poorly.
