Here's what I have been up to. I have modified the new Ford to fit a 427 in it and it works awesome the whole engine is in complete, very little cutting had to be done to make this work I can't get good close up pics because my camera has broke and wont auto focus. If anyone would be interested in doing this I could help. The Willys is the new one I got yesterday sanded it down primed it and painted it in a satin red for right now.

I am very interested in how to paint rust any help? I have been surrounded by art all of my life and know its an easy one just not sure of the basics of what you need. I built a complete O gauge train set up for my grandpa by the end it was 30x14 almost evrything was had built by me, mountains, drive in theater and the screen was a real moniter and played old car movie's it was a really bad ass setup as far as trains go.I wish I had some pics so you could see that I am not exaggerating. But some family issues went down and I will never see any of it again even though it was promised to me. Any help will be highly appreciated.

I agree but all of the r/c cars have some bad points. The Willy's has goodguys interior, nothing is sweeter then a in dash gps and flip down screen with 20 speakers and a 25 gallon nos tank . The Ford's problems are the grill, tail lights and engine, the exhaust comes out of the valve cover. The Chevy's engine is better than the Ford but is still lame and like RAT T said it looks bug-eyed. The grill not being painted really throws the car off. but all in all they are still bad ass r/c cars

As you mentioned about the Willys.. When I stripped mine, I ended up tossing all that "junk in the trunk" in the trash can.. Gotta make room for a battery box.. :)

I've been looking for a 1/8 scale Entex Porsche 935 turbo Martini kit.

If anyone has one or knows where one can be had I'm willing to pay a fair price.

Any leads would be great as well.

    Cheers

How about a brake booster? I still have to add some studs to mount the master cylinder to. I think Jeff (SIZZLER67) has a Wilwood master he is getting ready to cast but I'm not 100% on that.

Any interest in gauges? Maybe the flamed dash is off topic But they look just as good in a stock deuce dash. I also have a tach I will be doing soon.

Deuces, Where you located? I'll show you how to use it...;) The nice thing is I use the big boys at work when things are slow. So I kinda get paid to create. Hell as long as I look busy they don't know & for the most part they don't care as long as my work is getting done. The pay is kinda low but it's not a bad place to work.

I'm also a machinist.. :D I made all kinds of gadgets on a manual lathe and Bridgeport including adjustable boring heads... I've been involved in prototype machining since '95 Thanks for the offer though! :)

As for slowdowns at a shop, be thankful your still working!! I've been laid off for almost 2 years now and I'm still pounding the pavement trying to find someplace close to my homestead.. I might just get lucky next week I hope!!
    Thanks again Jim!! :)
