I can't believe someone would say that about the Take Out-T..WTF?!!! What a poser douche bag! Excellent Pics by the way...lol
Great bunch of pics. Thanks for sharing! I cant help but stare and drool over this car everytime I see a pic of it. Just amazing!!
Thanks for posting this Chris, almost like being there with the coverage you provided. You guys have got some awesome cars up in that corner of the country. It's nice to see the Takeout T actually gets driven.........it's an outstanding car and held it's own at the BIG show. Frank
Yep, I think some people relate "billet" to "shiny metal" I was happy to be able to see Russ's T up close after seeing it behind the ropes at Portland.
Well I'm glad you can go on with your life Andy with all your "RAD" talk. I'm over here heart broken that the deal didn't go through.
I thought about it, but it would have been a long, slow drive. It gets pretty stuffy inside, too. This was my first time at a show as a passenger. It was relaxing
Nice shots Chris, also just noticed I walked right by you like 5 times and didn't even say hi because I wasn't sure it was you lol.
Great picks, And the two T'S that Russ built are my favorite, I thought the Green touring was my favorite, but that dude just out did himself with the Take Out T
About the Takeout T...you hear stupid stuff from uneducated 'experts' all the time... My T is ALL steel, on an A frame, with nothing but vintage parts, and an early Olds Rocket motor with a Hydromatic, and have to listen to the idiotic remarks from people all the time. ...'that car is 'glass because of the cracks in the paint'...no, it's cracked because it was painted with laquer God knows how long ago. 'What a dork! He put fake Olds valve covers on a small block Chev!' ...no, it has 3 exhaust ports and a valley pan under the intake, etc... I was so STOKED to see that car in person, I about fell over! For anyone who hasn't seen it yet up close, let me tell you, the pictures of it DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE!!! Absolutely amazing!
We had a great time, Mitch joined our caravan and about 15 of us headed up. Two of my favorites were your buddies 40 ford pu and the A coupe with the y block. Thanks for posting up the pics you took. Joe
