I sure do remember Bob and Shirley Sullivan's camaro as well as his baracuda and dragsters. He and Shirley lived near my brother Rapid Ronnie in KCMO. He was a true pioneer that I had the privilidge to race with. Thanks for the flash back. Hey, if anyone would like to see some great early funny car photos, check out Steve Reyes' latest book Funny car Follies. A great addition to your coffee table. Mike

The Pomona based ET Auto Parts with Merek Chertkow piloting. Blown Olds on fuel. The car came later equipped with a nice full nose piece.

  8. Always wondered what the name on that was ^ That was the one that was later painted a dark maroon with a full fat bananna point lookin nose?

Love that blown Oldsmobile on fuel... they sound so good!

  13. Yup...Bob won Bristol '68 (IIRC) in it.

This is (I think) a Mike Ditty shot March, '68.

  14. And here's one in motion (!) at Bristol.

  17. Oh...found a not-in-motion chassis shot. Someone's shot from Detroit...sorry for not snatching the photog credit...
