I hear ya Buckd, but sometimes polishing out wash swirls to make the shiney not look shitty kinda sucks!! I get the vision thing tho..good luck man!
Here's another one from my "glamour" hot rod photography side job... A '41 Willys with a somewhat "misty mountain" backdrop...
Mine is on it's way. Still lots to do. Olds windsheild being the biggest before prep and propper paint. The last one is John St. Germains 36 Roadster. Now that's classy.
This is one beautiful car. That packard grille is one of the nicest ever prodiuced and so well incorperted into this front end. I would love to own this car.
I was refering to John St Germains 36 Ford roadster, with the Awesome mods, that grille in part. The whole car is a piece of fine art. I thought my comment would be near that car, so didn't explain what vehicle I meant. Sorry.
Its nice to see a Classy Custom with CLASSY stance.Crushin the pavement lookin the way it's supposed to.
Especially when they have the right stance like this.I love the Chris-Craft on lake Arrowhead look like this picture shows.
If the Grim Reaper drove a car, this would be it. If you went to meet the Devil down at the crossroads, he'd pull up in this. This is the kind of car that makes you expect dry ice fog to roll out when you open the door. Sooo much presence. I'm in awe of how everything works so well together on this thing.
Nominating my own cars for the "Classy Kustoms" thread shows no class at all -- but I think that these two are consistent with the tone of this thread: DRD57 photo
I don't think "nominating" is the optimum word here...If ya like your car, and it's classy (as yours is) put it on here...don't wait for someone else to recognize it.... R- PS, I first saw it at Santa Maria way back in '09...and thot it was classy then...
= CLASS ,This car shines plenty to be on this thread or any other one.Notice the stance ....... now that is a sign of class.
For what it's worth, the 1941 Willys is not a "race car", it has never been on the track... It's street legal/street driven... It is a completely customized ride... However, it definitely appears that the paint scheme ain't to some folks liking...
Well I dont really know what to say except...... Yes the car you posted has had work done to it.. but....it is NOT a custom. Its like Boxing and Baseball..........yes they are both sports but they have nothing to do with eachother.
There are a couple of things that are wrong. First off this is a thread about classy customs. Not pro street wanna be cars with 80's paint jobs. There is nothing classy about that car. Second this is the HAMB, we're about traditional hot rods and customs, and that's traditional as in think mid 60's and earlier. Not 70's, not 80's, not pro street, not street rods, not rat rods....
