Augie and I played a bit on the way home. It was a bumpy road, though, and he hit a dip and the front of his car started to do the straightaxle dance, so we quit

How about a 1/18th scale of the Fenner Tubbs car?

Fenner Tubbs would be a hard one,it was their 64 Savoy with 65 fiberglass front end.Would mean new tooling for tail lights and dash.It would be totally bitching if they did though! And the rear is pushed forward more then the standard 15in.

First pre-production sample of this car in 1:18 die cast. Hope to have them produced by September/October.

We currently only have the factory (moved forward) crossmember to use right now, but we have thought of that car. A straight axle car would be cool, so never say never...

This car was at the Gasser Magazine Nationals at Marion Count(OH) International raceway. It was favorite car of the meet because he was there to compete, plus he drives it on the street!!

  21. That is one of my old bosses' cars. When I worked for him, they were doing 62 Plymouth's with Max Wedges. He built a really sharp black one, radio delete and 3 speed. I see he's moved up a couple years now! ;)

That's the only way we do 1:18 cars, is with the proper lisencing. Have sent many dollars and many cars to drivers/owners over the years, so would do it again. Just wanted to be sure ya knew.

Then we decided to try 200 yard drag racing on Irwindale's oval track. That was a bit tricky, and we're all glad that we did not get the boot, and actually put on a nice little impromptu show:
