For a "no excuses" fix try using Loctite Primer in an aerosol spray can then use either Loctite Cylindrical Part Bonding Compound or Loctite Stud Lock.

.....'I watched 'em both, from start-to-finish and those were as good as 'in-cars' as it gets. 'Just great, Roy. What a beautiful day there in Milwaukee.

But, it was SO unfair to see you drive on by the Boyle Spl. a couple of times. 'Don't know if it was carls or macmiller, but the Boyle Spl. needs a bigger and more powerful "spaghetti" Offy!........'just teasin' you guys. Thanks for being the link for all of us to enjoy the day!

Here is some Milwaukee "in car" I took, driving the #15 Boyle. The "Boyle" has a 2.3 SOHC Ford, probably 125 HP, so we are at a distinct HP disadvantage to the roadsters. Smoothness and maintaining momentum are the keys to driving tne "Boyle"

Bolt heads are counter sunk to far and too tight to safety wire.. Parts will be machined to allow for longer bolts and a lock nut on the back side. ;)

Some big progress last weekend! Car is Painted and body is attached. The engine in it now is just a dummy engine,so it at least looks like a race car while I finish up the rest of the outside. I just had to see it with the header and injector stacks out of the hood! Motor build to follow after the outside is done.

The “mac miller specials” had a great weekend at the fabulous “Millers at Milwaukee” vintage meet July 8 & 9.
The Bob Dicks’ 1963 #98 “Agajanian” Watson roadster and the Carl Schulz’ 1927 #15 “Boyle Valve Spl.” Miller were on the Milwaukee Mile, virtually non stop, from the first green flag at 11 AM on Friday until the final “checker”at 4 PM on Saturday.
In addition to regular team drivers, Bob Dicks, Carl Schulz, mac miller and Randall Cook, it was the team’s pleasure to have several notable guest “wheelmen” running lap sessions, including Roy Caruthers, Andy Hurtubise, Chris Paulsen, Josh Shaw, Brad Edwards and Michael Ferner. We would like to thank these guys for helping us make the “mac miller specials” the lap leaders for the weekend.

We love the Millers at Milwaukee! and want to thank everyone involved in organizing & conducting the meet , all of the car owners, who bring their wonderful cars and all of the fans who come to be part of the scene.

    THANK YOU ALL!!!!

I just thought you guys were changing gear ratios.

Wish I had met you guys. Walked around by myself taking pixs and listening to everything.

I have a little Toshiba notebook that has a program built in called Windows Live Movie Maker. I've learned to do titles but i haven't learned how to cut and edit yet.

I was at a body shop in Beverly NJ and the owner had purchased this TQ from Roland Willis. I don't know anything about it and was wondering if anybody knew anything about the car. It was kind of updated with Carrera Shocks and Simpson belts, but notice the drivers names listed on the side. The shop is not really into racing - just purchased it about 5 years ago. Very nice car.

That car looks familiar. It may be the Savona car. I know Ben Trimble and will see him next Wed night. I'll ask him about the car then. I also remember Wayne Loucius from my beginning TQ days, but haven't seen him for a really long time. I'll talk to Ben Trimble and report back next week.

Tom I found this picture of Poncho and his dad at Atlantic City,in what looks to be the same car with different paint and number and probably a different owner. If you post this info on the cageless midget thread you probably get more info on the history on this car over there......Rich
