Keith - problems with the red "X" again - it appears posting straight from the "host" is the issue.

    Thanks again

There's one you don't see just every ol' day! TWO elephants! Wonder what the equivalent
horsepower and torque ratings for THIS team would be. I wonder if anybody EVER tried to
calculate it!!! And, I have to wonder what the basic story was here. Looks like a bombed
or shelled building, maybe in France(?).

I still think Chryco's BUMP collection is BIGGER:eek::eek:
    than Keith's RED-X collection! :D

(Hmmmmm?!?! MAYBE, taken together, they might equal
the number of times we've reposted "The Hippie Chick"!:p)

Serious "historical" question here. Naturally, one notices the 15-cent price and the mere
9 million SOLD. But the small print says "Self Serve System." I wasn't AWARE that, in the
BEGINNING, McDonald's actively advertised this aspect of their marketing scheme -- seem-
ingly, literally, differentiating themselves from the trad drive-ins with car hops where you
could eat in your car. One of those INTERESTING little points that would probably not ever
come up, except on this thread!
