That's really neat, do the back doors not go as far down as the fronts?

Are you going to make it into a COE?

Tattofordguy, can you post some more pictures of that rear door and cab area? It looks like the trucks I remember my neighbor drove for the state of NY when I was a kid.

Nope if i end up putting this together it will be a small truck as the cabs on these trucks are the same size.

I dont think this is the same truck as your neighbors this truck has been in sunny califorina sence day 1. But here is a pic.

As far down towards the bottom of the cab as the fronts do? What is that seam near the bottom?

This is a really interesting cab, I would love to see one in person, I just noticed the rear doors are flatter on top the the fronts, and they have flop handles VS the fronts push-buttons... there must be some interesting curves in the roof between the doors too... this is going to be a cool project!

I love it, but I'm not really a fan of the way the front fenders are bobbed, I know it's a lot of work and messing around, but I would love to see one with the rear fenders lowered to match the fronts, and maybe 1/2 ton sized front wheel wells. (I might PS this tonight)

Here is another shot of possibly the same truck.

I like it... I am going to be doing this in the next few months with a Panel. I just need to figure out how to get the rear fender down where it needs to be. Im thinking about a bagged s-10 frame then do a body lift to get it up where it belongs. But then do surgery on the rear fender wells to get them down where they belong. A semi serious Chop, maybe about 5 of so inches to get the sleek look back. A skinny jelly bean anyway. Thanks so much for doing the PS on this thing it is saved and will be my template and insperation. :D How big of wheels were on these originally? The COE's

One way to solve the rear fender problem is to make them taller. In order to kkep the proportions right on my dually, I had to widen the fenders about 5-6 inches and I made them 4 inches taller. You could make the fenders taller, and if still not long enough, cut the rear fender mounting surface out and move it down the needed amount. Love the look of the COE panels.

on the panel the wheel well is cut into the body about 5" So Its going to be a pretty big deal to get it right. I will probably save that till the last so I will know exactly where it needs to be height wise. Good option though, Thanks for the post.
