Jam, love the quarters/tail light treatment. What are those lights off of?

I've got a set for my '50 coupe. Do you have any close-ups or construction shots?

I'm also waiting on a '53 Pontiac rear bumper (rusty but straight). What is yours? Thanks.

Question for you guys 'in the know' about such things...

I'm currently looking to sell my OT pickup, but have been offered a trade for what the interested party says is a '52 Styline Deluxe coupe. Now, in the photos I have been sent it's hard to see the shape/size of the quarter windows (the dead give-away to me that it would be a coupe and not a 2-door sedan). It also has a back seat...were there coupes WITH back seats or were they all 'business man's" style coupes?

I've requested more photos, but thought I would ask just in case. Not that there's anything wrong with 2-door sedans (Grapevine anyone?) I just prefer the coupes.

    Thanks

  16. Flyin Flattie, Nice Car. I sure we would all like to see some more pics.

This is what mine looks like now. I have slowly made some progress since I last posted on this thread in May 2009. The dash and inside the trunk are painted, second coat of primer on the body and the brakes work now.

  17. I didn't enlarge the pictures of your car last night. It is very similar to mine. I even have a set of the Olds wheel covers.

Perfect chop and tail light treatment. I'm looking forward to seeing this one done.

all the cars presented are terrific. still love the sound of a sixer w/ split manifold. maybe my last build would be one of these w/ pontiac ohc 6 w/5sp? what do you think. is the olds windshield an easy replacement for the chev, pontiac and buick of these years. those under construction please keep us up to date there were some great ideas!

at a recent show I seen a beautiful 49/50 that actually got me to go look at the 51 I ended up buying (was looking at wagons before that). any idea what these headlight rings are off of. the owner said it was an aftermarket part. I want a set for my 51
