Why only to 56? there is a huge market for the 57-60 Ford trucks too that everyone ignores.

    I getcha!

I had the same thing with model T oarts and 46-48 Canadian Dodge parts, so once I started to build either type of vehicle I was well set up to do so!

Is that a 2 ton? That has the be the shortest wheel base I have ever seen on one! What was it originally used for?

This is exactly how I see trucks. Not perfect, but close. Still usable. Fun.

  12. No,The manifold was changed out at some point. I would love to have one,but they're REAL expensive!!!! My plan is to put a Manifre,4-2's manifold on it.

    Finally finished the sideboards....

it was a farm truck. "hay hauler". shortened about 7 ft with the half ton bed on it. i had to cut the rear fender wells out a bit to fit the 20 inch wheels. they guy i bought it from shortened it. i would have shortened it at about a foot longer. anyway, i love it. definitely draws a crowd. -DVZ

  16. Honestly, that looks like a 3/4 ton bed that was cut at the middle stake pocket. But I still like this beast.

possibly. i figured it was a 3100 bed. it is short though. i had to create an extention to be able to haul my bikes in it. -DVZ

Well I guess it doesnt look as goofy as I thought! haha. Maybe I will just lower it a couple of inches in the front to even out the stance. Thanks for the compliments fellas.
