Good ol' Rick Finch. He's a perfect counter balance to HAMB brown nosing. He'll probably be cantankerous on the Bird House building message board too. I'm proud to call him my friend.

I know Mercs....and will say i'm AMAZED at the asking price! I actually hope Charley gets what he wants for it,but I don't think it's likely. I don't think I have ever seen another one, short of the Hirohata and the Sam Barris Merc, that even comes close. The details and the quality can't be questioned. He went over every inch of that car with me at Ink-n-Iron and at the Autorama. It's just breathtaking!!!! I sure hope it goes to a REAL car guy,not just a collector. It would be a waste to see it sitting in some building. Charley wasn't affraid to drive it.

    Good luck Charley!!!!!!

Charlie makes some cool ****! I'm not talking about putting parts together, I'm talking about making parts. You can look at any of his builds and find tons of parts you have never seen! He's crazy that way, 2 days to make a part you can buy for $20 bucks, but it will have a Charlie twist to it! The Show Circut is all about "Heavy Hitters" and a expensive hobby, someone is dying to give big bucks to have "Nadine". The price, you gotta start somewhere.

That's some funny ****... I've thought about taking up fishing but I could see how building birdhouses could be satisfying.

Nice car but if I had that kind of cash, would think first of a nice house and finishing my daughters education.

It's a spectacular car for sure but the price is not realistic, not saying that if you added up all the hours you could come up with a bill that high. On the other hand nobody here would pay $30k on a top notch model A sedan restoration, even if it realistically cost that much. Can't blame him for trying, though.

If you KNEW the details of the build, the amount of time, forethought in design, fitment, ect. You would understand its value. This shade of purple is perfect for the lines of this car.

That's a beautiful car. And I hope he gets close to his asking price, I don't see it; but maybe someone will ante up for it. If I had close to 400k to spend on cars I would have about 20 nice ones of all varieties in my shop for the price.

That is one sweet merc!!....And He will get his money or at least close to it....I have watched big wallets get into a "Mine is bigger than yours" contest over cars no where near this nice....If he puts it in on the me*** or barrett jackson circut one of those guys will step up and own it.....I personally think it is worth his asking price judgeing from what I have seen cars like this sell for to big money guys, But I could never justify giving that kinda money for a car, As to me that kind of money would be life changing...

if i had a car that perfect it would be priceless, $390,000 seems like a bargain. you could have 10 shops build 10 mercs with an unlimited budget and never get close to what this car is.

Beautiful car, for sure. The real price will be negotiated between the buyer and seller..that wouldn't be me in either case.

Charlies Merc, is so detailed with touches that are his signature. Probably the most driven high show car out there. Best wishes to one of my heros, Charlie Reynolds, on gettin top bucks for this remarkable build. ~sololobo~

I remember years ago this Zephyr sold at Barret Jackson for $432k. That was the beginning of the way too high priced club. As much as I love a Zephyr this car (Nadine) is a deal in comparison.

Charlie is a true gentleman; and if that Wasabi Merc thing went for $330k or so, Nadine should fetch at least $3 million
