How do you explain to your buddy that you hit a pond? They don't exactly jump in-front of you.......

which is worse, a story with no pics, or pics with no story?

  24. Did anybody else notice that there is no license tag (just the two bolts on the bracket) on the rear, but looks like one on the front? Plus it looks amazingly good to have been pulled upside down while in the pond. They did a good job flipping it back on it's wheels, too! I'm lazy so I usually just use a hose and bucket when I wash my 5-window.

Twenty-four posts and nobody has captioned one of the photos "Mechanical brakes: Just say no!"?

    One more,

I think the reason it won't start is because the carburetor is flooded.

well good news is that it is not salt water, it is still in amazing shape besides being sunk, and it is definately fixable. It will be on the road again....

The next to last picture is very suspicious too as the water has no ripple and no water is dripping from the car. I pulled a truck out of a river one time and it dripped for about 2 days. Also, the clothing of the people appears to be for much cooler weather than July not to menion the fallen leaves freshly in the water. Hmmm...
