The top one is too street rod for me (the wife may like it though). Not looking too bad in black. Thanks for the excellent pictures. One last thing if you don't mind? Can you do the black one with cream colored wires, trim rings, & baby moons? Not sure if I want to go with wide whites or black walls. What do you think? BTW the the gray one is my desk top on my lap top now & I just put the black one on the wife's PC. Thanks a million for the help visualizing what it will look like....Oh! and thanks for fixing the wheel! Now it will track straight.:D

Kool thanks man. The wife actually likes the purple. Don't worry guy's it's not going to happen.:D Been looking at wire wheels & man they aren't cheap! Like the look but too much $$. May have to go with steel wheels powder coated cream with trim rings & moon caps. Thanks for all the help. Better off making the decisions on the computer then wasting time & money on something that will not work out. You've been a big help.

Could not find any wheels that would fit the image. I made the ones on it to look some what like them.

SWEET thanks. I've been searching high & low for a side shot of a potters trunk but have had no luck. I thank you for all your effort. I think black & cream is the ticket.

Thanks LN7 NUT. You would think of all the pictures of that car; that one would be a dead on side shot. But nope. This is as close as I could get but it's not a very good shot.

I am in the process of trying to figure out how my 57 CDV will look with its original alpine white bottom with a candy red or brandywine roof (metallic or flake). I'll also be putting on my 53-54 cadillac wire wheels with 3 inch wide whites. Last but not least, I was hoping to see what it would look like with rear fenders skirts and lowered about 3 inches. Any assistance to give me a future look would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you click the photo it will send you to the Flickr page I got it from, I don't recall if it had info... but I think it did.

I love the cabs the New Zealand and Australian fords got, totally different then the North American ones, is it wood framed?

Alright so I am kind of torn and looking for some inspiration. I bought my 36' with the intentions of building a fenderless traditional hot rod. However, this is going to be a daily driver, so running fenders would have several advantages. Found this 36' which in my opinion looks pretty good. I wanted to see what it would look like with hood sides, the running boards shortened to where the rear fender is centered on the bed, the bed lowered to where it matches up with the bottom body line on the cab, and a little lower. Thanks in advance. Opinions welcome

Thanks James looks great. After seeing this and doing some mock-up of my own body, this is definitely the direction I am headed in now. The fenders have too much character to leave out. Plus I can have a much better handling ride. I'll need to section the cab, hood, and grill to get the right look and stance. But that is a bonus, won't be another one like it! Thanks again James.

scadfeq- I think that the color you have is slick. I'd keep it- you don't want to be one of a million guys with suede black and flake. Maybe change up the wheels a bit if you want, but I think you have a great looking ride.
