If you are collecting opinions, leave it alone, or do a total restoration of what it would have looked like when the former owner built it. That is a time capsule, a VERY nice one. Bob

The body absolutely will not be touched... She's made it this far without being cut or drastically altered & I think she oozes cool just the way she is. Having said that I had planned on lowering it & driving it as a highboy, but after seeing her in person I am reconsidering that as well.
One day she will be dis***embled & rebuilt the way she deserves...but not anytime soon. As she sits, she is in my mind the definition of a survivor. I plan on leaving the 3 speed in it & the banjo (although it is an early '32 rear). The K-member is perfect, as is the entire frame...with the exception of some welding on the front crossmember & the addition of 2 plates for mounting the small block. Think that the ****** & rear will handle a mild small block ok?

  9. Wow! Congrats! I dontthink I'd be able to stop smiling

Cool find, must have spent most of it's life in a garage. Another vote for a 265!

It has been in dry storage, unmoved since 1960. A rac**** destroyed the interior at some point...

Great score. Why on earth would anybody put a divider in the windshield?

It gives it a 1932 Chrysler look, not bad, and easy to remove I think.

That is a '35 or '36 Ford dash. The gauges look like '49 Merc. Lots of other neat add on stuff there too. Is that a tach on the column? More dash pics please.... And personally I think an SBC is a lame idea...

I somewhat agree with you...I have some feelers out for a flathead & think the drive train is alot better suited for it. That being said, it's not really my idea...it did last have a sbc in it...

What a great score. You don't see too many 5-windows with vent windows in the doors..

Didn't mean to sound discouraging.... that car is amazing. Sounds like its in good hands.

  30. Cool car!
A 265 is not an SBC, back then it was just a Chevy!
