question for all you guys with lowered 53-54s. How bad is your turning radius? I lowered mine 3" in front with jamco springs and shocks. I am worried I will mess up the new white walls when I turn. They rub when making a tight turn. Do you just deal with it? or is there away to correct for this?

  16. How wide are the wheels? What's the offset ?

drum brakes, 6.70x15 bias plys, wheels are 15x5 with a 3.5" backspace.

  18. Sounds right. Mine barely miss but I prob. Have a smaller white wall

the correct way to do it is to radius your wheel wells.

yeah could do that, but i like the look of the tucked tires. I guess I either live with the rub or I bag it

Here's a 49 I'm building for a friend: 2 door conversion, chopped 4" up front, windshield only 3", 5" in the back, sectionned about 1" to get rid of the belt molding, pancaked trunk and hood, laid forward and curved B pillars, shortened roof by over a foot, sectionned/pancaked roofskin, still need rear fenders extention to match the Ford bumper and a ton of finishing.
