thanks for the mention, bill. here are a few examples. all of these are hand carved linocuts printed on high quality paper with a 19th century proofing press. you need to see these up close. texture and embossing get lost in the photos.

I'd vote for Tingler... and don't forget Barnett either. So many other guys that deserve it too.

For sure get General Gow in there. His prints are rad and it's not like he's just using a wacom tablet and Illustrator and having them printed at staples. There's a really cool old world method to those prints and it would be nice to showcase the process. My son happens to be a huge fan and collector ;)

Heck I'd be honored big time. I'll throw my pencils in the ring and play along.

  16. We all know tattooers arnt real artists, so i dont qualify. :p
Personally, i would like to see more art thats hand done, just like it used to be. :)
Dont get me wrong, photography and computer made art is cool, but it dosent have that personal feel to it.

    Jeff Allison.

What’s this sudden hatred to photography and computer generated art? I am confused. Slim

  20. More than fun- I'd say sinewy, powerful design sense, graceful coolness too. The turbine '36, I wanna see that! And Hanna- Barbera notwithstanding, I'd like a set of the 'Wacky' prints.. Nedd Ludd rocks..

OK, I'll bite. I'm not a big name artist by any means, but I try to go to different shows around the area and make unique pieces for clients. I have done stuff for hamb members and many others. I do pencil drawings, scratchboard and paintings. Here are some examples. I think like someone else said, just look at the F.A.S. archives and you will find more than enough artists that are awesome! Good luck on picking. Many greats!
