If you don't like what the thread is about, don't read it!! There are other threads about how to mount split bones, rebuilding your flathead or your stromberg, or what ever you need to do to your car. I personally am going to put bags on my car so this is information that I am looking for. I thank all that have posted thier info and pics. I find them informational and interesting.

those early chevys on bags are sooooooo bad ***!!!

anyone running bags on a late 70's GM frame with the factory (4 link style) short trailing arms??

what am i gonna spend to have a shop do install on above mentioned ch***is. only maybe a small c notch. nothing to radical with the frame, but fast, economical, and reliable will be a must. est cost??

    thanks yall

There is a plate welded to the crossmembers on top of the notch under the tank where the valves mount. I'm using an engine driven compressor.

i really dont think not wanting to cut the floor is any excuse for poor suspension design.

btt...Im working on my 55 first series now and cant figure out how I want to place the valves and tank... Id really like to mount the valves right to the tank but the junk tank I have the ports are so close to each other.

    Get some JIC swivel fittings

you can put em all close and tight and still tighten em without any issues, they can get costly though

I just took all the valves a part and put them on then re***embled them. stupid me the first way I set em up would just drain the tank when if I would lower it! I wasnt thinking at all. Now its alot better.

I'v seen their stuff up at North Star Dragstrip. the run low and fast as ****. Alot of their cars are turbo LS engines. but hey, I could see the use in a modern engine somtimes.. somtimes.

  29. Here's a few pictures of the cantilever set-up on my '55 Chevy pickup. I still need to mount the tanks, compressors, valves, etc. You know, all the expensive stuff!
