Well Marcy brought my new Roadster to the house today:). It had a long journey from Spokane WA! I bought it from hotrod-40 here on the Hamb. The weather couldn't have been worse, 113 for the High today, and thats not the heat index, that was the actual temp!! Marcy's A/C went out in Kansas somewhere so she was having fun as well.
The car is great, full fender 31 Roadster with a stock banger and drop axle, Juice brakes and its been lowered as well. The Bed was installed during WW2. Been a while since I had one with a stock drive train and I couldn't remember how to start one:rolleyes: So I called Corey and he gave me the combo. Fired right up and I drove it a couple of miles. Neat little car!:D

That one looks familiar...was it in the desert states a couple years back? The bedsides and the cut lines look the same.

Ok, that's it. Then it went to the desert I am pretty sure. I thought it was a pretty cool survivor, that's why I remember it.

  8. That is nice! Bring it out to NoSurf's Hamb bque next April. Do not change anything on that car.

Don't know if I would want to drive it that far with the Banger! Was up there 3 years ago and it was a Long drive. I will be bringing it to the HAMB drags though!:D

It's a tough call whether to leave it as is, redo the bed with new wood and hardware or put it back to a roadster...I wouldn't know which way to vote...it's a bitchin car/truck though ;)...

Thats awesome! Never seen one converted like that. The fact that its a survivor makes it even cooler. Great score!

Thanks Guys! I have some big plans for it but don't worry, it will still retain its current look and will stay traditional. I am collecting parts and working out the details now. Look for progress threads to follow! Going to get the 40 back on the road before I tear into it though.

Utilitarian for sure but I would like the lines better without the bed. Just my 2c worth.
