This truck has so much work done to it.
it is amazing.kinda street roddy but cool in my opinion non the less.
and what is cool is i know almost the whole history on it.it was "THEKID49" uncles truck back in the day. Then their family friend "Woody" (famous funny car and custom car painter from the 60`s and 70`s)bought it and customized it to what you see here.
I am sure THE KID49 can chime in with some more tidbits.
This truck is bad ***...too bad the pics dont show all the pearl ghost flames in the paint...
428 interceptor motor with C6 trans 9" rearend......

    Eddie, it's a 428 police interceptor. Not a 460

Here are some shots I have of it now. It was my uncles old truck. He bought it from a junk yard in the early '70's. My dad did the body and painted it a few times while still up north. I will have to scan some old pictures from when it was in Connecticut. Back then the body was fairly stock. It did have the 428 in it, and it was black with flames.

I hang around with a guy [Mike M.] that worked for Woody way back when..I remember the crushed gl*** paint jobs that Woody did [probably one of the first to do it perfect] which were just stunning...Going way back in time here, last time I saw Woody he had the Anglia [Alice in wonderland theme paint] and stopped in the D'shop for coffee on his way home from a car show, had to be armory...

The Alice in wonderland Thames was killer. The whole truck was water spotted, and the Chesire cat was done in pearl so it was there and then it was gone. The Now Machine was another wild Woody paint job. He came up with things that blew people away. The shop my dad worked at usually was up against him for paint awards in the shows up there. I will have to see if Woody will let me scan some of his old pictures to put up here.
