    Sam,

I think it is a close run thing between your car and Roberts as to which is my favourite.

If only you would have sold me yours....

How did I miss the Lace??

    P.

  4. ....lol.....well Kev, I bet your the one that had the "good idea" to lay it on....nice touch.

  5. Fast Elvis...Nope, not me. I would have put it down both sides as well.

    The headers are Hookers.

The axle kit is 50" wide

  6. The color Huggger Orange is a Chevy color that me and Groucho decided on at my first Hot Rod Reunion. We saw a similar '55 Chevy Gasser there with a truck rear axle. We both looked at each other and knew right away what the color had to be. Hugger Orange.
The car was already at Blue Kollar Kustoms in Ventura Ca. I was talking to Ray Foster about lace and what he thought about lace on my car. I didn't want to be over the top.
Ray said that lace would be BITCHIN', and it is, and that he knew how to lay it out and what color that we should use.
The lace is done in a red pearl with a gold pearl mist lightly sprayed over the top that pops out at you in the sun light.

Hmm, i remember meeting a certain 'longhair" at the Halpins party the night before the Albany American Car day back in the early 90,s. I had a 750 honda chopper, you probably don't remember me though ? Neil and Pete were there too. Cool 55,s both you guys.

  14. Just purchased a new steel hood to cut for the velocity stacks. OUCH !!! All of the used ones that I saw were looking like a potatoe chip. And I need it now to keep this ball rolling so, STEP ON UP AND PAY THE TAB!

  15. Thank you, I am proud of this ride.

    Kent,
Should I look into buying a tri-five next???? Oh wait a minute I already have a 55-Bird..And a 57 Chevy Axle in the 32.... Does that count????

  25. Hey Kevin, nice meeting you today at the Early Ford Store open house which by the way is a BITCHIN' show and if you didn't go you missed out.
And to answer your question no it doesn't qualify. You need to have a Tri Five CHEVY with an axle to qualify, to place and to even line up in the staging lanes.
