In case some of us had forgotten what a real Hot Rod looks like in the sea of fake patina'd, Blitz Black s****, globbery welds and stuffed animals jammed into old 4 door sedans at car shows, THIS folks, is what I'm talk'n about...
Stretched '27 body with a shortened turtle deck, '32 rails with a DEEP kick up, flattie with alum heads, two '97's under a Thickstun, Quickchange, Speedway tires, E&J headlights. Cool, cool, cool. Brian
Hot Rod-(definition)-a purpose built speed machine. Oh yes, that is one. Been a while since I saw one but I remember them well.
Nice, but it's just one interpretation of the term Hot Rod. If they all looked like that it would be like street rods in the 80's and 90's.
Sweet, the way it is set up it looks like it could have been built to road race against sports cars in the early 50's.
If you think all 90's and 80's street rods looked like that, then you and I were at different events. There were a few carrying the torch, but resto rods, tires hanging WAY ouside the fenders, then pastel paint, tweed interiors, billet and other horrors. Or are you just trying to be argumentative? There's some people out there that have ever seen a true hot rod, just different favors of rat. Love our ride !!! probably a very safe car too..fun fun fun.
Here are some more pics. If this doesn't make your heart race, your blood pressure go up, and/or your **** hard, you're on the WRONG website! Brian
DO NOT get me wrong, I dig this car alot....BUT...'T', 'Deuce', 'Flathead'...some would say that equals 'belly****on'. This war of words and tastes and traditions will never end, that's why I, at least, like parts of all hotrods. Carry on...
