That was my guess too. Somebody will know. Anyway, I always WONDERED how many times Pete kicked himself for leaving the band when the Beatles hit the big time. ???? Anybody know how things went for him?

What's with the dual exhaust system on this one? One side has a muffler but the other one looks like it comes out of the fenderwell and is a straight pipe. Would've sounded weird.

 

This pic is from WW2 in Sweden, so the car is equipped with a wood gas generator in the rear, so the extra pipe is probably the gas feeding pipe for the engine.

 

This truck also is equipped for driving on wood gas, you can see the main burner just behind the cab.
