And what I was thinking of doing to it

 

Ive owned this 55 Ranch Wagon for more than thirty years, Last year I finally did do a little to it. I pulled out the non running 223 six and installed a 262 six from a truck. Overdrive three speed with 411 rear gears. someone painted with a brushover the original turquoise with olive drab army paint. never sanded it just painted. OldWolf

 

Doing up a 56 Parklane. Hope to have it lookin like this except the color.

 

Here are a couple pics of my 56 Fairlane. It is a survivor with 84k miles, original paint, etc. It is pretty much the way it came from Ford other than sitting a little lower.

Thanks man...even though I didn't build this one, I do enjoy it. There are a few things I still need to do, but overall it is still pretty nice and I feel fortunate to have found such a nice survivor.

 

I can finally post pics of our 55 Customline 2 door sedan. It showed up to my shop a week ago Friday. I bought it from a fellow hamber in North Dakota. I will be starting a thread on the build after I get a little bit into it.

here is my 55 Sedan Delivery very rare car customized inside and out and transformation has a 58 T-bird grill with a 51 Merc grill upside down. got rid of this to get my 55 Victoria Hard top because I wanted to go with more of a stock look and work from there

 

I will be posting more pics of my 56 very soon. I had made this geoup for 55-56 but now have extended it to 1952-59 Ford/Lincoln/Mercury. Check it out and post your 55-56 fords there and we can get some ideas, help or even parts!

love THE BODY STYLE -- both Fords & Mercs -- specially how the Merc wagon tail lites fit perfect on Fords -- btw -- 60 Dodge Phoenix tail lites fit perfect as well --



one on the right is a 56 Ford but it has a 55 front clip

Both of those are beautiful, to me there is nothing like a 55/56 ford. Better than a Chevy to me. I really love that color as well
