    Have a stock built 272 Y-Block with a fenton TriPower intake. Running off center power valve external holley 94. I have the other 2 carbs blocked at the base. 2 carbs are 15/16 and the other is a EBU 1.
    Would all 3 8BA carbs hooked up be too much carb for the 272?
    Is it worth all the tuning hassle?

  2. I am pretty sure those cars will be fine or just send that manifold my way :)

    Ordered a couple rebuild kits from napa. We will see how that goes in the A.M...Eelco linkage is the best out there? Anyone tried the speedway p/n 560-6271 49.99 Kit?

    Where are the pics? I have been thinking about doing a tri setup on my 292 but don't know much about tuning them all

    interested in the tri power set up, I found an Offy tri power intake for cheap. I realize it's not the best flowing thing out there, but it'll give a bit more umph when needed. Have to rebuild some carbs and need info on tuning/set up. Seems like everything I read is different. Some people remove the chokes on the outer 2, and the power valves. jetting seems to be consistant. linkage seems to be the same, always looking for input from those who know as I am new to dealing with 3 carbs! Thanks again..

  10. I am also going to be building a tri power for my 56 with a 292. Which is the best flowing y nlock tri power intake? The edelbrock? Im also not sure if I want to.use holley 94s or stromberg 97s and what models to use.

    A lot of people like to use 97s rather than 94s because they find the mechanical power enrichment setup of the 97 easier to tune for multiple applications than the 94's vacuum operated power system.

  12. Let's see those Y-Blocks with Trip's...

    Here's mine;

    Send your carbs and manifold to dickster27

    He will rebuild them and refinish them any way you want and he will also set them up with all new progressive linkage.

    He did mine and I got it back fuel ready. I have posted pictures on here several times.

  14. Yeah but sending them out is soo exspensive

    Yeah sending things out is great when $ is no object. I like to tinker, so I'll try to do as much as possible. Looks like parts are plentiful for 94's & 97's. I ended up with 94's, so I'll run with that. Linkage will be a toss up, seems like they all do about the same thing. I have seen every version imaginable as the local car cruises, even some DIY fab jobs. Needless to say there is a lot of info out there about tri-power, it just seems some people disagree on some of the finer details. Hoping for this to be my winter project, the car is running too good to tear into in the middle of cruise time. Keep the info & pics coming.

  16. Yeah dont take it apart until the winter. Enjoy it as much as you can now.
